Dr. Stephen Sugrue曾在哈佛医学院担任过助理教授、副教授，然后在佛罗里达大学医学院担任副教授、教授，并担任病理和细胞生物学系的系主任，目前是佛罗里达大学医学院的副院长。研究主要方向是上皮细胞的分子整合机制。
