We are seeking a postdoc scientist to join our hair cell development and regeneration research program. The successful candidate will explore the molecular mechanism underlying inner ear hair cell development and regeneration using various state-of-the-art techniques including tissue/organotypical culture, functional genomics, transgenic/knock out mice, high content image analysis, etc. The research topics will include but not limit to: BMP signaling in hair cell differentiation and inner ear patterning, genetic and epigenetic regulation of hair cell development and regeneration. The successful candidate should be highly motivated and enjoy working in a collaborative environment with strong experience in molecular and cellular biology.
This position requires a Ph.D. in Cell and Developmental Biology, Molecular Biology, or Biochemistry. Hands-on experience with primary tissue culture and molecular biology is required.
